Tributes have been paid to a young Dundee woman who has died after a short battle with cancer. Terri Souter died on June 2, with friends remembering her as "the best and loveliest" person.

The 32-year-old, who worked as a nursery teacher, was celebrated by friends on social media. Friend Cherlea Blair wrote on Facebook: "To all those that knew and loved Terri, I'm sorry if I've not been in touch.

She was a popular gal who knew and loved and had a lot of people in her life, so if I haven't reached out then I am sincerely sorry."After a very short battle with cancer, she lost her fight and passed away on June 2 at 8.50am.

She was as pain free as possible in the end, and we were all there for her."Everyone is still very much in shock, hence why it's taken so long for me to even write this.
