A Scots mum has been left too scared to let her children play in the street after feral youths smashed motors and jumped on car windscreens in a terrorising rampage.Police have launched a probe after eight vehicles were damaged by thugs outside of homes in New Elgin between Tuesday, January 3, and Sunday, January 8.
Shocking CCTV captured by a resident shows one youth jumping on top of a parked Toyota MR2 on Meadow Crescent, while others in the group filmed the incident on their phones, on Friday January 6. .The thug can be seen kicking the windscreen of the vehicle before the gang flee from the scene.
Mum-of-three Michelle Campbell, who owns the car, says she no longer feels the area is safe for her family.The 28-year-old said: "I'm scared for my children to go outside because of these gangs. "The fear has caused me to feel like I don't have a safe place for my young children to grow up. "I've lived here for 11 years and never seen anything like this.
It's horrible. "These youths are dangerous. The community is scared of these kids who seem to get away with frightening everyone.
