Heartbreak for Kylie Minogue as splits from boyfriend after five years – and the reason she wanted to keep under wraps
thesun.co.ukKYLIE Minogue has split from her British boyfriend of five years - a year after returning to Australia. According to friends, the star, 54, has called time on her romance with GQ exec Paul Solomons as she prepares to embark on a new world tour.
The pair, who still follow one another on Instagram, were last pictured together on the red carport of the ABBA Voyage in May.
Last night a source close to former GQ exec said: “Long distance isn’t easy for any couple. “Kylie and Paul really tried to make things work but ultimately the time difference was a killer - Paul couldn’t exactly nip to Melbourne for a long weekend whenever things got strained. “Kylie initially wanted to keep the split quiet though as she really does not want the narrative to be ‘poor, unlucky-in-love-Kylie’s heartbreak’s again’.
