The giant goalkeeper can’t wait for his first taste of the national stadium in 13 days’ time but knows the League Cup semi final can’t distract from two huge league fixtures against St Mirren this afternoon and then the Hoops on Saturday.
The Buddies first foot Rugby Park this afternoon and Kilmarnock - bolstered by the arrival of striker Kyle Vassell - are eyeing a third home win on the spin.That, says Walker, is crucial to keeping momentum building towards the semi final.
He said: “Everyone is looking forward to it. The next couple of games will be really important for all of us to be picked by the manager, perform and do our best to be picked for Hampden Park.
