Sabrina Carpenter accused of copying new album cover without credit
nme.comSabrina Carpenter has been accused of copying a French magazine for the artwork of her new album without giving the publication credit.Yesterday (June 3), the ‘Nonsense’ singer took to her official social media accounts to share that her sixth studio album titled ‘Short N’ Sweet’ is set for release on August 23 via Island Records and can be pre-ordered / pre-saved here.She also shared the album cover which features a photo of her in front of a royal blue backdrop looking over her shoulder which has a lipstick kiss stain.
Now, X/Twitter users have commented on how Carpenter’s album cover resembles a Cosmopolitan France spread from 2015.French model Tiffany Collier – who posed in the shoot – shared a photo of the spread back in 2018 in which she is also looking over her bare shoulder with the same lipstick kiss stamp.
