Rutherglen Mosque celebrate new Quran translation which clarifies ‘misinterpretations used by terrorists'

Hundreds of members of the Scottish Muslim community flocked to the Rutherglen Mosque this week to celebrate a new translation which clarifies the "misinterpretation of Quranic verses used by terrorist organisations".Over 200 people attended on Wednesday, including special guests like Reverend Peter Duncan from the Free Church of Scotland, the Consul General of Pakistan Sammar Javed and Dr Adrees from the Muslim Council of Scotland.They gathered at the Minhaj ul Quran mosque in Rutherglen to mark the historic launch event of the Manifest Quran.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
