The actress joined the ITV soap in 2016 as Lydia Hart who was actually born Jennifer 'Jenny' Finn. Lydia was first seen on screen as the leader of the bereavement support group held in the village hall that Jimmy King inadvertently attended in September 2016.
A few months later, Lydia turned up at Emmerdale Veterinary Surgery with her depressed parrot Steve and she and vet Paddy Kirk decided to go for a drink in The Woolpack and the rest, as they say, is history.
She went on to have disastrous dates with Paddy and Rishi Sharma before falling for Sam Dingle, who she married in 2020. However, in July 2019, a story broke in the local community that a baby's skeleton was found on the grounds of Hotten Academy, which was formerly Hotten Grange Children's Home.
