He's a local legend in Weatherfield, but Roy Cropper could be heading for an exit from the street as he's arrested for murder.
The café owner will be questioned by DS Swain in Coronation Street next week when the hunt for Lauren Bolton ramps up. The teen has been missing for a couple of weeks now after a mystery visitor appeared at her door on Valentine's Day.
Concern was written all over her face as her heart appeared to sink over who was standing in front of her but viewers were never told who the visitor was.
Later, Lauren's love interest Bobby found her flat unlocked, with Lauren nowhere to be seen. He's since been doing what he can to try and find her and in upcoming scenes, Bobby finds out that blood stains have been found on the curtains at Lauren's flat and informs DS Swain who is quick to investigate.
