Bethany Platt has only been back in Weatherfield a few short months, but the character is set to face her biggest shock to date in new Coronation Street scenes.
The character made her sudden arrival back in Weatherfield just before the arrival of a new year. She quickly rekindled her former romance with Daniel Osbourne which in turn ruffled feathers between them and his ex-fiancée Daisy Midgley.
After writing an article about her affair with Ryan Connor following the shocking acid attack that took place in the Rovers last year, Bethany ended up exposing Daisy and Jenny Connor's theft of Carla Connor's money that was originally stolen by serial killer Stephen Reid.
She's since been supporting Daniel as he became a suspect in the case of Lauren Bolton's disappearance. However, she's set to be thrust into what has since become a murder probe herself thanks to a shock return in the ITV soap.
