manchestereveningnews.co.ukA 'dangerous' sexual predator raped a woman while she was unconscious then messaged her years later to 'get closure'. After attacking the woman at student accommodation in Cardiff in 2019, Nathan Thorburn contacted her out of the blue.
She chastised Thorburn and told him: "You and I both know what you did to me. You are a rapist." Now Thorburn, 25, has been jailed for nine years, Wales Online reports.
Cardiff Crown Court heard that and Thorburn and the woman both been drinking alcohol during a night out, and the victim had also smoked cannabis spliff.
By the end of the night the victim was extremely intoxicated and returned to the accommodation block.
