Rachel Weisz Dishes On Developing 'Dead Ringers' As A Series: 'It Doesn't Get Any Better'
justjared.comRachel Weisz is rocking a pink velvet suit at the premiere of Dead Ringers! The 53-year-old actress joined co-star Britne Oldford, and showrunner Alice Birch, at the premiere of their new Prime Video series at BFI Southbank on Tuesday (April 11) in London.
The trio of stars hit the red carpet just a week after their first premiere in New York City. “The idea of having these two women at the pinnacle of their professional lives, but their private lives are so dysfunctional, and so aberrant, and so bizarre,” Rachel noted in a recent interview with PORTER about the show. “That contrast – it doesn’t get any better.” She also opened up about working side by side with Alice over the scripts during the pandemic. “Alice and I were really interested in seeing women be massively successful and, equally, messed up,” Rachel says. “The characters are complicated, and it’s not just like, good twin/evil twin – yawn, yawn – because people are very, very complicated.
