Prince William is continuing his late mother's efforts to combat homelessness in a first-look clip at his new ITV documentary - however, the heir to the throne admits that he "can't do it on [his] own".The royal, 42, is returning to our screens for Prince William: We Can End Homelessness - a documentary following the first year of his Homewards programme, which aims to end homelessness.
The two-part series features interviews with those currently facing homelessness and those who have experienced it in the past as well as Prince William himself.The heir is following in his mum's footsteps, with Princess Diana - who tragically died in 1997 - having been a patron of youth homelessness charity Centrepoint.
In a teaser clip of the upcoming series, Prince William speaks about his passion to help the cause, explaining: "Everyone having a right to a safe and stable home benefits us all.
I come with no other agenda than desperately trying to help people who are in need and I see that as part of my role. "Why else would I be here if I’m not using this role properly to influence and help people where I can.
