Prince Harry's ITV documentary was outperformed in the ratings by a programme on turbulence, dealing a fresh setback to the Duke of Sussex.

His hour-long feature aired last week, on July 25, but failed to attract as many viewers as a competing documentary. The broadcast, 'Tabloids on Trial', explored the experiences of Prince Harry, Hugh Grant, Charlotte Church, Paul Gascoigne, and other celebrities who were propelled into the limelight.

It delved into the repercussions of the alleged illegal methods used by certain newspapers. In the documentary, the Prince expressed that his choice to challenge the media was a key factor in the "rift" within the Royal Family.

When questioned if his actions had ruined their relationship, Harry responded: "Yeah, that's certainly a central piece to it."He added: "But, you know, that's a hard question to answer because anything I say about my family results in a torrent of abuse from the press." He emphasised: "I've made it very clear that this is something that needs to be done."It would be nice if we, you know, did it as a family.
