Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted hand-in-hand in Vancouver as they launched the Invictus Games - as it was revealed their children Archie and Lilibet will take a new surname, ending a 64-year tradition.
The pair put on a defiant Valentine's Day display as they took to the slopes together in ski gear, with Meghan seen being helped carefully onto the snow, writes The Mirror. The day on the slopes comes just a few days after they quietly launched their new website Sussex.com, which has seen their children Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, be given different names.Instead of being known as Mountbatten-Windsors, Archie and Lilibet have taken the surname Sussex since their granddad King Charles's Coronation, and the website reflects as such. The children are also referred to as "Prince" and "Princess" on the site in a move that has surprised some.
The surname Mountbatten-Windsor was handed down in 1960 to all future male heirs of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
The Sussexes have been criticised following the launch of the new website, particularly for using their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles on the site, despite having stepped away from the Royal Family in January 2020.
