Staffordshire Police have today confirmed that they are not seeking anyone else in relation to the heartbreaking deaths of a paramedic featured on Channel 4's series and his nurse girlfriend.
Initially, the force approached the case as a double-murder inquiry after Daniel Duffield and Lauren Evans were found deceased at his residence in Hednesford on Tuesday.
However, the current understanding is that no third party was involved, and the police are now compiling a report for the coroner, who will conduct inquests in the future. The 24 year old appeared in the 11th season of the Channel 4 programme 999: On The Frontline, which documented the experiences of West Midlands Ambulance Service staff throughout the county.
Ms. Evans, aged 22 and a mental health nurse from Bridgend in South Wales, leaves behind a family who are reportedly shattered by the loss.
