Police hunting men following violent disorder at Kilmarnock v Motherwell game

Police have released new CCTV images of men they want to speak to following violent disorder after a football match.Officers are hunting five individuals after a large disturbance erupted following Kilmarnock's home game against Motherwell on August 27.Disorder broke out in the town centre at The Clansman Bar on John Finnie Street minutes after the final whistle at Rugby Park.It comes after five men were arrested and charged on Tuesday following an operation involving officers from both Ayrshire and Lanarkshire divisions.A 15-year-old male was also cautioned and charged.

The five men have been released and are due to appear in court at a later date.Police worked with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service along with Kilmarnock and Motherwell Football Clubs.Inspector Iain Farmer, Ayrshire Division, said on Tuesday: “Police Scotland has a zero tolerance approach to football-associated violence and we take all reports extremely seriously.

We will continue to work closely with the clubs to ensure the safety of everyone attending any fixtures.”Today cops launched a fresh appeal into the incident.The first man is described as being of slim build with fair hair, wearing a light blue jumper, checked shirt, and dark jeans.The second man is described as being of stocky build with dark hair, wearing an orange Stone Island T-shirt, black shorts, and burgundy Adidas trainers.The third man is described as being of slim build with fair hair, wearing a white T-shirt with dark trousers.The forth man is described as wearing a black T-shirt with yellow accents, a blue jacket tied around his body, black trousers, and burgundy trainers with yellow accents.The fifth man is described as of stocky build with brown hair, wearing a black
