Police arrested a fan over a racially aggravated public order offence at Bolton Wanderers' home game against Carlisle United today.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the Toughsheet Community stadium on Saturday afternoon, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed. "GMP take a zero-tolerance stance towards hate crime and will continue to work with the club to tackle this," said the force in a statement.
