A warning has been issued to anyone who has paid for a TV licence in the UK. Millions of homeowners and renters are being urged to check if they're owed a £159 refund without realising.
With the price for a full TV licence now costing a hefty £159, it's not a cheap or affordable expense for many struggling with the cost of living crisis.
Anybody who streams live TV, away from streaming services like Netflix, YouTube Disney+ and catch up services (excluding the BBC) is required to pay for a TV licence.
That can lead many to believe that they need to pay full price, or risk a large fine. But many don't realise that they may be eligible for discounts ranging from 50 percent to 100 percent.
