And they are adding to the set of the challenges that this business is already facing that is, quite frankly, very disruptive.”

Disney CEO Bob Iger said the linear TV business “may not be core” to the company, and efforts are under way to explore a number of strategic options for them.

Last minute calls are being made by Hollywood chiefs to try and prevent an actors strike.
