Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 3 has come and gone, now we are all looking to the Ahsoka series. We might want to hold off a little longer on that though, as new rumors are suggesting that The Mandalorian Season 4 may become a movie. What could this mean for Pedro Pascal’s Disney Plus show? Star Wars seems like it may be going back to its film roots.

Star Wars has finally confirmed the identity of the masked lightsaber wielder from the Ahsoka trailers. According to the official Star Wars website, the character’s name is Marrok. While they wear the armor of an Inquisitor, that life is long behind them.

Star Wars Ahsoka might be Dave Filoni’s best chance to make this change to Return Of The Jedi. The rumors of Captain Rex making his live-action debut in this upcoming series would be the key to making this small but important change. Filoni has a deep connection to these characters through his time working on The Clone Wars with George Lucas.

In a recent interview, John Boyega, most recently known for his role as Finn in the Star Wars movies, opened up about a possible return. His recent words about the franchise come years after he spoke out about how Disney treats black characters in their projects. Boyega accused Disney of using diverse casting to bring in viewers and then pushing those characters to the side after they have made their quick buck. “That was a few years ago, so they were the subject of that particular project,” Boyega recently told TechRadar, in an interview that was conducted before the actors strike.

Star Wars’ Lando Calrissian show starring Donald Glover will not be happening anytime soon it seems. Even the writers are saying that they have “no clue” what is going on. The last update that writer Justin Simien got about the show was in the year 2020.

The upcoming Disney Plus series, Star Wars: The Acolyte is said to have more Jedi than any other film or show. The Jedi are arguably the most noticeable characters in all of fiction. Even non-Star Wars fans know what a Jedi is.

Disney has finally given Star Wars fans their first look at live-action Grand Admiral Thrawn! In the recent Ahsoka series trailer, we finally get to see the face of the Chiss admiral. Thrawn is seemingly the main antagonist in the upcoming Ahsoka Tano spin-off series. Grand Admiral Thrawn was also one of the “big bads” in the hit animated show Star Wars Rebels. It was announced in April at this year’s Star Wars Celebration that Lars Mikkelsen would reprise his role as the Star Wars villain.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is an animated show that was written by the same group who brought us Season 7 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Tales will focus on the Jedi of the prequel era such as Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Ashoka Tano, and of course Anikan Skywalker.

John Boyega, who was the actor behind the ex-Stormtrooper turned Resistance fighter Finn, has made it known to everyone that his time making the Star Wars sequels was not a good one. Even though Boyega had such a negative experience he is still a big Star Wars fan and keeps up with all the latest projects, most recently talking about the Obi-Wan Kenobi show that streamed on Disney Plus. One of the biggest problems John Boyega had was the lack of meaningful representation throughout the trilogy.

Star Wars: Ahsoka is coming early next year and recently Sabine Wren herself, Natasha Liu Bordizzo posted a picture of a birthday gift the cast and crew got her. The gift was a poster of Wrens’ very recognizable helmet; the poster was also signed by the actors and actresses that are expected to be in the series. Fans on Reddit have gone over all the signatures and messages written on the poster and one of the messages that is conveniently missing a signature looks a lot like Star Wars legend Mark Hamill. Mark has been very involved in Star Wars shows recently as a young version of Luke Skywalker is featured in The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has a cameo in upcoming series Obi-Wan Kenobi, according to reports.The Star Wars spin-off, set to be released on Disney+ on May 27, is set 10 years after events in 2005’s Revenge Of The Sith, where Kenobi witnessed his Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker turn to the dark side.According to Star Wars News Net, sources have said Flea, real name Michael Balzary, will make an appearance in the series in an unknown role.Rupert Friend, who plays the Grand Inquisitor in Obi-Wan Kenobi, recently teased in an interview with Hey U Guys that the show will feature “wonderful cameos”.“I think it’s one of the most thrilling additions to the Star Wars canon,” Friend said. “I think Ewan McGregor is doing things with that role that is a dream for fans of the original films… we can’t obviously have Alec Guinness back, but I just think Ewan was absolutely born to play that part.“But wonderful cameos from people I obviously can’t tell you, Easter eggs galore and… yeah, it’s a thrilling ride.”Flea has made numerous appearances in film and television over the years, including Back To The Future Part II, The Big Lebowski and minor voice roles in Pixar films Inside Out and Toy Story 4.He’s also set to appear in director Damien Chazelle’s (La La Land, Whiplash) upcoming film Babylon, starring alongside Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Tobey Maguire as Charlie Chaplin.
