Pamela Nash returns to Westminster as MP for Motherwell, Wishaw & Carluke

Pamela Nash is returning to parliament after a nine-year absence as the new Labour MP for the revised constituency of Motherwell, Wishaw & Carluke.

The Labour politician previously represented neighbouring Airdrie & Shotts for five years from 2010, when she was first elected at the age of 25 and officially became the “baby of the house”, the traditional title for the youngest MP.

She will now be returning to Westminster next week after defeating incumbent SNP representative Marion Fellows, who has been the area’s MP since 2015.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
