Paisley pervert snared in national operation chatting to 13-year-old girl

A national police operation caught a Paisley man sending sexual messages to who he thought was a 13-year-old girl. Twisted Kevin Ansell was snared by police in a national operation that cracks down on the online abuse of children.When creepy Ansell was sending sexual messages on Kik and Whatsapp to who he thought was 13-year-old Lily, he was infact speaking to an undercover police officer.

Prosecutor Matt Piskorz told Paisley Sheriff Court the perverted 40-year-old was caught as a result of Operation NOCAP, which is the National Online Child Abuse to Protection operation.

Mr Piskorz explained: “Police Scotland had information that the user of an account with Kik messenger named ‘BinGlasgow’ sub name Bryan Glasgow, had been conversing through the site and had made contact with an undercover police officer named Max using the decoy name ‘Lily.’“The chat continued on Whatsapp and the profile picture on the Whatsapp, used by the accused is an image of a cat dressed up in a doctor’s outfit.“Ansell chatted to ‘Lily’, who identified as a 13-year-old female.

Ansell described himself to be 40-years-old.
