Outlander fans in a frenzy as Sam Heughan shares sporty snap

Outlander actor Sam Heughan set pulses racing as he donned an American football kit to greet fans across the pond. The star is visiting San Francisco to promote his award-winning spirit brand, Sassenach whisky.To mark Heughan’s arrival in the Bay area, the Scottish heartthrob was treated to a tour of Levi’s Stadium, home of American football team the San Francisco 49ers.In photos shared with his 4.3 million Instagram followers, Sam sports a 49ers baseball cap and a red team jersey emblazoned with the number 97.
