Saturday's opposite number Tony Docherty hit out, branding his assessment "disrespectful," and now Hibs gaffer Montgomery has gone to bat for the SPFL, taking the opposite view to Adams and backing up his opinion by pointing to wins on the continent for Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen last midweek. “I can’t really agree with his comments – but he’s entitled to his opinion," said Montgomery. "I think it’s a real competitive league.
