This Morning viewers were left flocking to social media as they were left flabbergasted by one of the show's segments. The ITV daytime programme returned to screens on Tuesday (January 2) for the first episode of 2024.

It was Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson at the helm and the pair opened the show by wishing each other and viewers a Happy New Year and sharing briefly what they had got up to when marking the end of 2023 and the start of 2024.

But they were soon cracking on the show which included the latest This Morning View where they discussed the news headlines before they were joined by Strictly Come Dancing star Annabel Croft and some of the real people behind ITV's new drama, Mr Bates vs The Post Office. The cook, 62, told ITV viewers that as well as more air-fryer recipes, ‘fun’ mash-ups popular with TikTokers would be prominent in the coming months and so he had decided to have a go at some of his own with some of the concoctions causing quite a stir with the hosts and with viewers watching at home.
