Newmains dance company head to World Championships thanks to housing developer donation

Newmains dance company, On Pointe Dance Academy, is set to take part in the UDO World Street Dance Championships in Blackpool thanks to the generous support of a housing developer.Thirty-one young people, aged from eight to 18, are taking part in the competition at the famous Winter Gardens.The event attracts thousands of dancers from around the world who compete in different categories in front of the world’s best street dance and hip-hop celebrity judges.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
