New bike borrowing facility in Lanarkshire town helping more people enjoy active travel

A new “bike library” in North Lanarkshire is helping get more people to choose cycling as a means of getting around.There’s been a real push in recent years to promote “active travel” and the recently introduced facility situated in Wishaw gives people who don’t have a bike of their own to get out and about on two wheels.The project was the idea of Garry King at Go Kids Performing Arts (GKPA).The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
