Lisa Rockett was feeling fed up and had no confidence to wear a bikini after tipping the scales at 13.5st. The mum-of-two was a size 16 when she decided it was time for a major overhaul.She plucked up the courage to join a local support group to help with her weight loss but the 56-year-old credits one simple rule for helping her shed the pounds.
She says calorie counting and swapping unhealthy snacks for better alternatives as the reason for her success, reports the Manchester Evening News.Lisa said: "I’d always struggled with my weight and I put on around three stone after having kids years ago and never really lost it.“I struggled to get it off so it was for myself, for my health, to try and lose weight and to just look and feel good.“It was my lack of exercise and eating habits.
Now, my eating habits have completely changed. I went away last year to Mexico and it was nice to feel nice in a bikini.”The mum continued: “I’m really aware of what I’m eating now.
