Mum-of-five dead after doctors told her problem was 'nothing to worry about'

The family of Christine Bond, a mother of five from Merseyside, have been left heartbroken after her untimely death from cancer, having originally been misdiagnosed with sciatica.

Christine, 41, sadly passed away just ten months following the devastating discovery that it was actually cancer causing her immense pain and weight loss.

Her cousin, Clare Purvis, also 41, opened up to the Liverpool Echo about the ordeal and explains that two years ago, Christine found a "lump on her kidneys" but was told by doctors it was nothign to worry about.

As her condition deteriorated, Clare shared how Christine endured worsening back and leg pain, which doctors initially attributed to sciatica and arthritis.
