Motherwell and Wishaw MP Marion Fellows has been honoured by a major cancer charity. The SNP MP won the title of Political Voice of the Year in the Shining Star Awards run by Sarcoma UK in an event held at No 10 Downing Street.Marion’s husband George sadly died from sarcoma in 2018.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

This is a charity which through its funding for research is making a huge difference every day.“Research is the key to help improve future treatments and by raising awareness, the charity also promotes early diagnosis which is obviously crucial for treatment.“So I am humbled by being given the title of Political Voice of the Year.
