Meghan and Harry force 'deeply nervous' King Charles to take drastic precaution over Christmas

The Christmas period is a time for love and peace but as the festive season rolls in King Charles seems to be increasingly anxious about what his estranged son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle's next move might be.

The monarch is said to be "deeply nervous" about talking to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who are facing a lot of "hostility" from within the Royal Family, an insider has claimed.King Charles is believed to be concerned about the possibility of the Sussexes "leaking" his conversations with them, which would make "things very difficult", according to Vanity Fair.The Sussexes have not spent Christmas with the royals since 2018 and were reportedly keen to fly out to the UK for the holidays this year as their children have never spent the festive period with their grandfather, King Charles, the Express reports.However, it seems their plans have been foiled and are now likely to be spending the big day in the States with Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, who is the only close family they have in the US.The source added that there was "no chance" that Harry and Meghan or their two kids Prince Archie and Lilibet, will be invited to spend the Christmas period with the rest of the Royal Family at Sandringham.They went on to add that although the monarch "would love" to spend some time with his US-based grandchildren he understands that there is a lot of hostility towards the couple in the family, especially on Prince William and Kate's part.The duke is no longer on speaking terms with his older brother, the Prince of Wales, after he made a series of shocking allegations against him in his tell-all memoir Spare.
