James Jordan calls fans 'simple' as he is slammed for 'insensitive' New Year's post
ok.co.ukFormer Strictly Come Dancing pro James Jordan has landed himself in hot water again after posting a money-related quote to his social media.
The dancer, who is married to fellow Strictly star Ola Jordan, 41, posted the quote around four hours before the clock struck at midnight on Sunday 31 December to bring in the new year.
Some fans were less than impressed, and accused James, 45, of being insensitive at a time when "people are struggling." He didn't take the criticism well, however, and responded to someone defending him by commenting "how simple some people are".
James's post read: "Not trying to brag, but I have enough money not to work for the rest of the year!". While there technically was only a few hours left in the year, some followers clearly felt the quote was too much given the current cost of living crisis.
