Meghan Markle has used her new career move to indicate that she "doesn't need Prince Harry to be successful" a royal expert has claimed. The 42-year-old former actress shot to international fame in the legal drama Suits where she starred as paralegal Rachel Zane before landing other roles in a number of Hollywood films.
The Duchess of Sussex is now believed to be making a dramatic career move as rumours have been circulating that she is making her big return to social media to become an Instagram influencer.Meghan previously deleted her personal online accounts once she married into the royals and set up a joint royal account with Harry.
However, the couple also ditched this one after stepping down from the royal family in 2020, the Mirror reports.Royal historian Tessa Dunlop said Meghan's self-made "star power" is "so impressive" as she hit back at the duchess' haters, who claim she is only famous because of Harry. She said: "Together, yes, they're greater than the sum of their parts, and yes, the royal connection has taken her platform to a level that she's never experienced before.
But we can't say it's all just because she married a prince."The mum-of-two has already managed to make her own way in Hollywood before she had met Prince Harry.
