He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Meghan and Harry's Netflix deal could end in matter of months as couple's dream 'falls apart'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's big dreams might be crumbling as their massive Netflix deal is set to end in a few months. The couple, who were once celebrated for their six-part documentary on the streaming platform, are now facing criticism in Hollywood and could lose everything they've worked so hard for.

In 2022, their documentary was the most-watched factual series on Netflix. But now, they're under fire and could lose it all, according to royal experts.

It must feel like a lifetime ago when they were named among Time's top 100 most influential people of 2021. At the recent Golden Globes, comedian Jo Koy made fun of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, saying they were "being paid millions by Netflix for doing nothing." This came after Netflix told them they needed to create more interesting content if they wanted to receive the remaining £40million of their contract.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams warned that things aren't looking good for the Sussexes and explained they need to come up with some fresh ideas before their contract with Archewell and Netflix ends.
