A cameraman, who worked on MasterChef Australia, is feared dead following a horrific plane crash, which saw two Viper S-211 Marchetti jets collide mid-air.

Cameraman James Rose, 30, is believed to have been onboard one of the aircraft, which collided over Melbourne’s Port Philip Bay.

One of the jets was able to successfully land at Essendon Airport, while the other crashed into the water. James was onboard the plane with pilot Stephen Gale, who is the owner of aviation company Jetworks Aviation who owned the two planes involved in the collision.
