Martin Lewis has shared ‘crucial’ Child Benefit need-to-knows in the latest edition of the MoneySavingExpert newsletter (MSE.com).
The financial guru also gives Chancellor Jeremy Hunt one last push before the Spring Budget to consider increasing the higher earnings threshold from £50,000 to £65,000, which would enable more people access to the financial element of Child Benefit. In January, Jeremy Hunt appeared on the Martin Lewis Show to answer questions on a variety of topics, but by far the most Martin had been asked to put to the Chancellor related to Child Benefit, particularly the £50,000 income threshold.

He also urged the Chancellor to cancel the Lifetime ISA (LISA) withdrawal penalty for all first-time buyers, put a stop to mid-contract, above-inflation broadband and mobile price hikes and free 'mortgage prisoners'.
