A court has heard that a man who was shot dead in the street 'wasn't very pleased' after being told he would have to pay 'full price' for his trainers to be cleaned.
Zikel Bobmanuel, 32, died after Ingram shot a single bullet at Openshaw which hit the floor and bounced up before striking him in the neck.
Prosecutors claim that Bobmanuel's alleged murder followed a row over some trainers, Manchester Crown Court has heard.Ingram and a second man, Emmanuel Onasanya, are both on trial accused of murder but they both deny the charge.
Ingram has admitted manslaughter. Mr Onasanya, 32, who had a trainer cleaning business, said he had agreed to clean five pairs of trainers belonging to Mr Bobmanuel, for £20 per pair, reports the MEN.He said he took the shoes and cleaned them, but claimed Mr Bobmanuel did not respond to his messages for months and he didn't receive payment.
