Man due in court in connection with alleged drug recovery in East Kilbride

A man has been charged after illegal drugs worth hundreds of pounds were allegedly recovered in East Kilbride.At around 8.40pm on Thursday, August 8, it is claimed plain clothes officers stopped a man on Darwin Road and cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £700 was recovered.A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
