Man City given £17m transfer ultimatum as striker 'agreement' reached

The 30-year-old spent last season on loan with the Spanish giants and is said to be keen on a return this summer, In fact, according to Spanish outlet Sport, the player has informed City that he either moves back to Barca or stays at the Etihad Stadium, even if that means not being a regular in the team.
The report adds that the deal Barcelona are looking at involves a loan with an option to buy at around €20million (£17m). City are said to want a fee of more than €25million (£21.3m) and have offered him to teams in Italy to try and get that fee. The report adds that a deal looks like it will be ‘closed’ by the end of the window. Elsewhere, City have reportedly reached an agreement to sign young striker Divin Mubamba, following his exit from West Ham earlier in the summer.
