A man has been charged for tragedy chanting at Old Trafford. The 44-year-old man who was arrested in the away section of the stadium during the match between Manchester United and Burnley on Saturday (April 27), was charged last night after the game.
Nathan Rawlinson of Bacup, Lancashire has been charged with Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986. He has since been bailed.
Burnley released a statement this morning (April 28) condemning the alleged tragedy gesturing and chanting from the away end after "offensive footage" was posted online.
It comes after the Clarets scored a late equaliser in the fixture which finished as a 1-1 draw.
