Man charged with murder after body found in Glasgow flat

dailyrecord.co.ukA man has been charged with murder following the death of a man at a Glasgow flat. Stuart Williams, 50, was found within a property on Glenisla Street, between Birnam Road and Maukinfauld Road in Tollcross, at around 5pm on Sunday, June 25.
The discovery was made after police were called to a report of a man seriously injured. Ambulance crews attended but Stuart was pronounced dead at the scene.
Christopher Lynch, 54, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this afternoon charged with murder.Lynch, from Glasgow, made no plea and no declaration.
He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.He is due to appear again before the court within the next eight days.
