The owner of two dogs seen in brutal TikTok videos showing badgers and foxes being attacked has walked free from court. Liam Talbot was banned from keeping animals for three years after admitting causing animal fighting, which was documented in footage posted on the social media platform.
Chester Magistrates' Court heard how the two dogs - a female tan bull lurcher named Pepper and a black bull lurcher named Cid, both aged nine - were found by police and the RSPCA with scarring on their faces and chests during a raid.
Both dogs were seen in a series of videos posted on TikTok. The videos had been found by animal cruelty charity Naturewatch Foundation, which passed the footage onto Cheshire Police and the RSPCA.
They included images of the dogs alongside equipment which is often used for hunting wildlife - including lamps, spades and a locator collar. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
