However, when it comes to footwear that's suitable for all weather and seasons, it can be trickier to find something that works.
For the last couple of years, loafers have become one of our go-to styles when we move from summer into autumn, as they’re waterproof and sturdy enough to withstand sudden downpours, but don’t make our feet overheat when the sun comes out.
We’ve been eyeing up Bottega Veneta’s Madame Black Leather Loafers, £860 here, thanks to their patent black leather finish and gold details, but we’re not quite willing to splurge almost £1000 on some footwear.
