Luton Town manager Rob Edwards has warned Tahith Chong and Teden Mengi not to 'do anything special' just because they are facing their former club Manchester United this weekend.

Chong joined United as a teenager and progressed to make 16 senior appearances for the first-team, but he failed to consolidate a regular starting role and he joined Birmingham City on a permanent transfer in September 2022 The 23-year-old impressed during that season in the Championship and Luton signed him in the summer after their promotion to the Premier League before later signing his fellow United academy graduate Mengi. "We've got them at our football now," Edwards said when asked about Mengi and Chong returning to United. "Their history is their history and they had amazing upbringings at Manchester United.
