Love Island winner Sanam Harrinanan has shared an emotional update with her fans, revealing she's returning to her day job as a social worker. The 26 year old beauty, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show last year alongside her now-fiance, Kai Fagan, took to Instagram to share her joy at returning to her "passion." In a heartfelt video, she said: "I've just come on here to share some really exciting and happy news." She continued: "Today, I have finally completed my new qualified year as a social worker, which is amazing.
I had to leave my job when I went into Love Island, and I've always had a passion for what I did and the fact that I left it didn't sit well with me.
I'm so glad to be back in my profession, I love what I do." Sanam confessed that leaving her job to join Love Island was not something she was entirely happy about at the time.
She ended her post by saying: "Going back to complete this is the best thing I did, especially as I worked so hard for it. I finally have my purpose back again in life, as well as being able to live the best of both worlds."
