Love Island star Faye Winter has defended herself by hitting back at some cruel trolls, who have called her "too skinny". The 27 year old – who exclusively opened up about her split from fellow islander Teddy Soares to OK! – shared a snap of herself in a gorgeous pink swimsuit as she wrote her powerful message on Instagram.

Faye wrote to her followers: "They’ll say I’m too skinny, they’ll say I’m too loud, they’ll say my appearance has changed but I’ll say I’m me and I’m proud of myself for never changing my soul." Faye's co-star Liberty Poole, 23, quickly commented: "Unreal," while a kind fan said: "No-one is you, and that’s your superpower." Bake Off star Candice Brown also wrote: "Girl you are everything!

Never change." Another fan commented: "Thin shaming is just as bad as fat shaming, it’s never cool to comment on someone’s size. "You look incredible, beautiful inside and out." It comes after Faye spoke out about her split from Teddy, telling us the pressure that accompanied their 18-month romance became too much to bear.

She said: "We’re from very different worlds and we were trying to build a relationship in this very high-pressure environment. "We got moulded together, but we had different dreams and ambitions and I had to respect Teddy’s." Faye continued: "We were so similar and we got on so well – he’ll forever have a very special place in my heart – and it feels like I’m grieving someone." Faye and Teddy met during the seventh season of Love Island, alongside former couples Millie Court and Liam Reardon, and Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran.
