His big brother will one day be King, but Prince Louis has other goals in mind. According to The Princess of Wales the five-year-old wants to be big enough to work as a Wimbledon ballboy - having enjoyed watching the tennis.
Kate told 16-year-old ball boy Joel that Louis has been practising in preparation. After their conversation, Joel told the PA news agency: “He (Louis) tries to practise the standing and staying serious like us. “He tries to practise the stands and how we stand at the back of the court and next to the players.” It seems Louis shares Kate and Prince William's passion for the game.
Kate told Ella Ottaway, who runs the All England Club’s young people programme, that Louis was “very upset” that he was not attending, unlike his older siblings. The princess said: “It’s Charlotte’s first time, George came last year. They’ve been eagerly watching. “Charlotte you’ve been getting to grips with the scoring.
Louis was very upset he wasn’t coming today.” All three of the young royals take tennis lessons. While they have their own tennis courts to play on at their various homes, the children have also taken lessons at the exclusive private-member Hurlingham Club by the Thames in West London.
