Every week, a rising artist will feature on The Cover – you can read the profile of Wishy here, written by Huw Baines and featuring photography by Rian Archer.Accompanying the story is an exclusive playlist Wishy have compiled, ‘Twee Classics’, featuring hook-filled indie-pop from acts including of Montreal, The Pastels, Talulah Gosh, Rocketship and more.

Their upcoming debut album ‘Triple Seven’, released on August 16, is no different. “I want to write music that I want to listen to,” singer and guitarist Nina Pitchkites told NME. “A lot of music snobs have things to say about bands that just write hooks – I guess some people would say it’s predictable or something.
