Laurence Fox has been arrested after his house was searched by the Met Police, according to reports. The Met confirmed that police officers had arrested a 45-year-old man on Wednesday morning on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras and encouraging or assisting offences to be committed.

ULEZ cameras are used by Transport for London (TfL) to monitor the cars that enter and exit the capital’s ultra-low emission zone (ULEZ).The cameras record a vehicle’s number plates, which gets checked against a database to see if it complies with ULEZ rules on emissions.

If it does not, drivers get charged a daily fee of £12.50. A spokesperson for the force told the Mirror: "On Wednesday 4, October officers arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras and encouraging or assisting offences to be committed.

He was arrested in Stockwell and has been taken to a South London police station where he remains in custody." OK! has contacted Fox's representatives for comment.
