King Charles remains focused despite 'hurt' from Prince Harry's comments, says Royal insider
dailyrecord.co.ukA family friend has revealed that King Charles is not preoccupied with the ongoing drama surrounding his relationship with Prince Harry.Despite failing to reconcile during Harry's recent visit to London, a spokesperson for the prince stated that the King was "busy" with a "full programme".
The spokesperson added: "The duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."However, this narrative has been called into question reports the Mirror.
It has since emerged that the King had granted Harry's request to stay at a Royal residence during his visit, but the Duke opted to stay in a hotel instead.Roya Nikkhah, Sunday Times Royal editor, discussed the situation on the podcast The Royals with Roya and Kate.
She said: "All the narrative from the moment he [Harry] touched down and we got that statement from Harry's spokesperson saying it's not possible for Harry to see his father, his father is too busy, he completely understands.
